Flash Drive/ Hard Drive Plan Suggestion

I know when it comes to mobile phones alot of companies offer plans that you can replace the phone for a refurb for $50. What if we offered it on all thumb drives 16gb and above? Like lets say they buy a thumb drive for $110 like the 32gb echo, you can charge them the $29.99 286822 SKU and another 14.99 to protect it so if they were to lose it we only charge half the price to replace it. Just an idea. Could work for external hard drives as well or computer mice, wireless network adapters etc.
